We are currently seeking a child and adolescent licensed therapist to provide individual and group counseling, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention to a caseload of individuals with a wide range of mental health, substance use, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities/disorders.
This position will facilitate/co-facilitate and provide backup coverage for evening groups.
You will work in consultation with an integrated team of colleagues and other agencies and service providers such as social services, schools, physicians or probation officers.
In this role, you will provide an array of outpatient mental health services to promote individualized, person-centered, and recovery-oriented treatment plans.
You will also coordinate linkage for additional services to other care providers.
Maintains records for area of responsibility by departmental, state and federal regulations, laws, policies, and procedures; process daily paperwork, including client progress notes, insurance forms, daily timesheets, service logs, and billing reports.
Completes required annual compliance training and participates actively and constructively in program and professional development.
Reads, comprehends, and adheres to the Corporate Compliance and HIPPA policies and procedures.
Report any violations, inconsistencies, or discrepancies, about the Corporate Compliance polices and procedures or the HIPPA polices and procedures to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
Manages caseload by utilizing business intelligence (BI) reports daily.

htm Typical Tasks Provides individual group, and family counseling, psychotherapy and or crisis intervention to individuals who have been diagnosed with MH, SU, ID and/or DD diagnoses.
Completes initial and annual assessments on individuals seeking clinical services.
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans that are person centered, evidence based, and outcomes oriented.
Serves as a back up to School Based Counseling program.
Completes appropriate clinical documentation and assures that assessments and correspondence to outside contacts are clinically appropriate and completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Advocates on behalf of the child/adolescent, and their family, in relation to services needed.
Participates in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Maintains records for area of responsibility in accordance with departmental, state, and federal regulations, laws, policies, and procedures; processes daily paperwork including but not limited to client progress notes, authorization forms and daily time sheets.
Completes required annual compliance training, participate actively and constructively in program and professional development.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist MD/DO, or a Bachelor’s Prepared Registered Nurse (RN) with five years of experience may be considered in the Emergency Services Program.
May consider as a marginal (under-grade) applicant a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work applicant who is currently registered with the Board of Health Professions with the ability to obtain licensure within the probationary period.
May require Pre-Screening Certification within 6 weeks of employment (12 weeks for part-time staff) for those in the Emergency Services Program.
Depending on the position, it may require a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is in compliance with the City’s Driving Standards.
