Sentara Health is recruiting a Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis in Virginia! The position is responsible for the system financial planning process, forecasting, long-term planning, capital allocation and capital planning, financial analytics, operational assessments, business plan development and strategic analysis.
Conducts financial analysis to ensure efficient financial operations.
Serves as the finance leader for integrations of existing or new businesses.
Prior experience in financial managerial positions; Demonstrated ability to lead people; Knowledge of and experience with financial data systems, financial modeling and analytics in a healthcare setting; Strong experience and knowledge of healthcare industry.
Provides systemwide oversight of the enterprise-wide financial planning process.
Oversees development, establishment and implementation of the system long-range financial planning process and capital forecast.
Oversight of the systemwide capital allocation and planning process to include policies and procedures for establishing capital availability thresholds and governance processes for system Capital Committee
Oversight for consolidated financial services team that prepares and provides guidance on the development of operational assessments, business plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
Provides leadership through financial analysis, management and decision support to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the financial processes and financial information.
Collaborates with cross-department/cross-divisional teams to achieve goals.
