Essential Duties
Supervise Service Department.
Perform annual employee performance evaluations.
Responsible for reviewing daily field reports for accuracy and quality and contacts customer for follow up repairs.
Responsible for reviewing daily JSA’s.
Develop quotes for Major and Intermediate Field Repair Projects
Discuss quote with customer and negotiate price, work schedules and necessary resources.
Open service jobs.
Provide technical support to customers, field mechanics and in-house personnel.
Communicate with other KES Divisions for additional resources.
Site visits to meet customers and observe quality of work being performed as well as discuss specific job requirements.
Maintain after hours on call rotation with other department personnel.
Make service calls on occasion when no other technicians are available.
Billing review and approval up to level of authority (actual vs.
quote).
Other duties as assigned.
Experience
Preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and identify complex mechanical problems.
Ability to estimate costs based on time, personnel, materials, logistics and profit margin.
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret exploded diagrams of mechanical assemblies.
