General Manager Job description Job Summary Residential and Commercial General Manager in high volume production environment.
Assisting Sr.
Management with the handling of servicing issues and logistics while handling daily tasks and long term projects.
Tasks and projects can vary by customer and company needs and require proactive and outside the box thinking.
Meeting service expectations and managing multiple projects and team managers.
Monitoring production levels and ensuring processes and systems are efficient and are adhered to.
Performing audits on title and closing files performed by others within the company and its affiliates.
Customer contact involves realtors, lenders, real estate investors, builders, developers and attorneys and aligning processes with customer service expectations.
Essential Functions within the company and its affiliates: resolve escalated issues, measure and monitor capacity, coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and provide training.
May provide input to hiring decisions and performance management process.
* Role focuses on process management improvement.
Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to implement best practice methods for residential and commercial real estate title and settlement services.
* As workflow demands, support and proactively assist with logistics for complex title and closing orders.
* Assists with the writing and implementation of title and closing processes and procedures and ensures team member compliance with procedural guidelines and provides guidance and interpretation of same.
* Performs quality control checks on underwriting and closing files.
Provides instructions for large scale or unique projects.
Identifies trends and recommends process improvements to management.
* Assist with production to support various departments when needed.
* Customer contact, resolving complex issues.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * People/leadership/interpersonal skills * Research skills * Complex problem-solving skills * Ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.
* Solid administrative skills * Participative leadership style – advocates team concepts * Able to establish credibility and be decisive, coupled with the ability to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.
* Resourceful * Strong knowledge and understanding of department processes and functionality of products.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) * Microsoft SharePoint Typical Education * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management Preferred Typical Range of Experience * 5 years related experience.
* Experience working with realtors, lenders and other real estate professionals preferred.
* Title and Closing experience preferred.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
License or Certification Virginia and North Carolina Title Insurance License.
