Job Description
We are looking for a Warehouse and Materials Supervisor to provide support in managing a growing area of our business.
The candidate will manage warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity in a fast-paced environment.
The warehouse supervisor will be part of a larger dynamic warehouse team, help coordinate logistical and supply chain operations, maintain accuracy across multiple platforms and have a drive toward excellence.
To be successful, you should be experienced in optimizing processes and be an effective team leader.
An outstanding warehouse supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities: Assist senior warehouse supervisor in accomplishing team objectives and goals Manage COMSEC Material Oversees all aspects of a warehouse including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations Assigns workloads and daily tasks to warehouse team Communicates with internal and external stakeholders in troubleshooting problems Monitor receiving, inventory, and shipment transactions for accuracy across multiple platforms Ensuring warehouse inventory and storage areas are cleaned and organized Conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies Ability to meet supporting warehouse programs such as preventive maintenance, safety, and training Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations Collaborate with the material managers to ensure core objectives are completed within timelines and meet or exceeds standards This position is located in Chesapeake, VA.
There is no relocation assistance available for this position.
Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors or Associate Degree and at least 4 years of related experience Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent leadership and organizational skills Problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Knowledge of DPAS, A2B, Cost Point, MICS, or other similar inventory management systems Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
