is in search of a Project Manager to join our team in the Norfolk, VA area.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and programs related to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Command and Control (C2) systems across multiple platforms supporting Department of Defense end users.
This role includes overseeing project personnel, scheduling work, writing proposals, preparing bids, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Specific Duties:
Manage projects and programs as assigned.
Supervise project personnel and teams, scheduling work and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.
Write proposals and prepare bids for new projects, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and procedures.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government representatives and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage budgets and resources for projects, ensuring efficient use of funds and materials.
Provide technical and managerial support for design, development, production, installation, and test & evaluation in support of performance-based logistics and depot level repair programs.
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain clear and effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Experience Requirements:
Five (5) years of direct work experience with C4ISR or similar program/projects.
Two (2) years of direct work experience to include: design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation in support of performance-based logistics and depot level repair programs.
Experience supervising project personnel and/or teams, scheduling work, writing proposals and/or preparing bids, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline
