Formulate dive plans in liaison with client, barge/vessel teams, dive operations manager and marine construction superintendents.
Attend project meetings on a regular basis to clarify operational requirements.
Brief all divers on the operational plans, contingency plans and operating procedures to be followed during the diving operations.
Maintain safety of dive team and ensure that the diving operation is carried out in accordance with OSHA, ADCI, EM-385 and the Precon Marine safe practice manual.
Supervise each area of diving operations assigned including subcontractors, labor crews and material handling to meet expectations of the Project Manager.
*Key Responsibilities And Tasks* * Coordinate production between all craft labor and diving labor to achieve production goals and efficiency.
Maintain production pace by working side by side with the production supervisors to show what is expected.
* Develop a daily production plans and assign necessary labor to implement.
This will include an alternative if weather interrupts the normal operations.
* Communicate with QC Manager or client inspector to verify hold point inspections have been completed and the production process can move forward.
Communication with the QC Manager should also include any information pertinent to the quality of the production process.
* Provide diving technical expertise and coaching to resolve any production issues and initiate the execution of corrective actions.
* Drive changes in working environment and equipment usage to increase the overall efficiency of the production of diving operations.
* Responsible for keeping dive crew moral at a high level so that it reflects on the quality of the product being produced.
* Maintain good dive station housekeeping practices to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
* Monitor and maintain diving equipment preventive maintenance program.
* Enforce Company Policies regarding Health, Safety, & Environmental.
*Preferred Qualification and Education* * ADCI Air Diving Supervisor qualification.
* 5 years’ diving supervisor experience.
* 10 years’ diving experience in bridge and/or marine construction *Attributes* * Able to influence and motivate people to act.

Job Type: Part-time Salary: $80,000.
00 - $120,000.
