Zone Training Director - Dallas

Job Summary: The Zone Training Director (ZTD) for Dallas is responsible for effective training implementation for Dollar Tree or Family Dollar banners.
This role leads a team of Regional Training Managers (RTMs) supporting field leadership in various training programs.
The ZTD also builds strategic business partnerships and aligns training initiatives with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage the GOLD Store Trainers (GST) program, including identification, assessment, certification, and talent retention.
• Oversee Regional Training Managers (RTDs) to ensure high-quality training for store managers and district managers.
• Ensure training programs meet company expectations and produce proficient store and district managers.
Additional Responsibilities: • Strategically direct training initiatives and implement quality assurance measures.
• Mentor and develop the RTM team to enhance their leadership and training skills.
• Conduct field visits to validate program execution.
• Implement dynamic and engaging training strategies.
• Collaborate with ZVPs and RDs to align training with company strategies.
• Consult with the Learning Design team on assessment and productivity tools.
• Ensure best-in-class learning implementation.
Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in learning and development or HR, preferably in a multi-unit retail or hospitality setting.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; coaching or Training CPTD Certification preferred.
• Track record of building and leading high-performing training teams.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel overnight (minimum 9 days per month).
