Assistant Property Manager

Area Storage in Virginia Beach is a self-storage facility that is currently hiring a part-time assistant manager.
Employee must work 4 days a week, every Saturday, Sunday and two weekdays.
Hours average around 27 hours per week.
Applicant must be willing to fill in at our other Virginia Beach location, when needed Responsibilities: • Renting, reserving, and vacating storage units • Renting moving truck • Performing opening and closing procedures • Answering phones and returning messages • Performing collection calls • Receiving payments • Selling and stocking merchandise • Cleaning and light maintenance of property • Light lifting required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required • Prior storage experience preferred, but not required • Able to work alone • Able to work in extreme conditions including rain, heat, and cold • Strong customer service skills • Accurate administration skills • General computer knowledge including MS Office • Able to learn operating software • Must have reliable transportation to run bank deposits and/or errands • Must be able to drive a 14 foot moving truck on occasion • Must be reliable and punctual.
Excessive absences and tardiness will not be tolerated Starting pay is $14.
