Hall, a MileOne company, is now hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician whose main focus will be the day to day general maintenance, painting, plumbing and carpentry of facilities located at the Honda, Hyundai, Ford and Toyota dealerships in Elizabeth City, NC.

*Essential Duties:*
* General Preventative Maintenance
* Inspects, repairs, installs, services and maintains various plumbing systems to include pipes, fixtures, restroom fixtures, water fountains and drain lines.
* Inspects, repairs, installs, services and maintains various electrical systems including lighting and power circuits, control equipment, fixtures, lamps, ballasts and switches.
* Performs maintenance tasks including hanging whiteboards and pictures, light bulb changes, HVAC filter changes, checks of major equipment, minor painting
* Provide basis carpentry duties which include construction and repair of walls and partitions, drywall installation and repair, shelving and counter installation, repair of doors and associated door hardware (locksets and closers)
* Removal and rearrangement of furniture for operational changes as needed
* Perform landscaping and yard work duties as required
* Perform assigned tasks until satisfactory completion
* Special projects as needed
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Driver's License
* 3 year’s experience in general maintenance, mechanical / facilities background ie.
light carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical
* Ability to operate all maintenance machines and vehicles ie: forklift, scissor lift, trailer, bucket truck, sprinter van
* Minor computer skills – ability to send/receive email, keep maintenance records and respond to work order requests
