Manager, Special Projects
Provide organization, coordination and management to all special projects related to Capital Expense programs and initiatives and retail store environments.
Manage Special Project Manager assignments and workloads.
Manages day-today tasks for the vendor programs for new store construction and special projects.
Essential Activities & Responsibilities:

Identify and quantify proposed capital initiatives.
Establish and manage related capital budgets.
Facilitate process of gathering information, setting priorities, determining the scope of work and providing communication to insure successful execution of all projects.
Execute Capital Expenditure Special Projects as necessary.
Facilitate communication with Store Planning and Operations for Special Project Layouts.
Prepare and execute pilot projects whenever possible, establishing and communicating “best practices” prior to roll-out.
Travel as necessary to evaluate project requirements and measure results.
Review all store expansion projects and provide guidance regarding décor/fixtures changes.
Provide guidance to suppliers in regard to forecast of on-going inventory needs for new stores and special projects.
Monitor and approve (Ariba) project costs within budget.
Review and report on activity code level spend by period, quarter, year.
Manage, train, review direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
5-7 years’ experience in project management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience in project management required.
Experience in construction project management required.
