The successful candidate will provide key leadership support for the production department Supervisor.
They will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing daily functions in order to achieve departmental objectives and meet customer requirements.
Including but not limited to: Position scheduling, key roles in the PLEX system, generating daily reports, ensuring employees have uniforms and tools as needed, ensuring employees have material needed and ensuring Company policies are enforced in a consistent manner.
They will work closely with the day shift supervisors, day shift Lead Supervisor, Production Manager, Quality and Engineering departments.
They will provide training and/or coordinate training for incoming employees.
Participate in 4S program, including daily clean up of work area before the end of shift.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED AND REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum 1 year previous leadership experience (required)
Previous PC experience utilizing word processing, communications and spreadsheet software(s) (required)
PLEX experience (preferred)
High school diploma or GED Certification (required).
Demonstrate success in planning, communication, time management, interpersonal and decision skills.
A high level of self-initiative, sense of ownership and integrity with a strong focus on continuous improvements to better service the needs of our customers.
Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 8- hour shift Saturday.
