Someone you know in the community requiring the assistance of another person to remain at home due to aging process, chronic health problems or lack of family support with placement in the residential home due to their inability to care for themselves.
Our Non-medical Home Health agency's goal is to increase the quality of life for clients living at home by assisting the client with their dependent or independent activities of daily living needs, _bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, therapeutic meal preparations, shopping/errands, reminders of daily medication treatment plan (only), scheduling/attending medical appointments, light home management, and companionship when the family needs some social time_.
To be considered for employment as a healthcare provider see the job requirements,
* Virginia Nurse Aide or Personal Care Aide with original certification of completion.
* Resume updated related to the employment skill nursing home, home health employment-related skills.
* Entry-level health care staff with 6-24 months of continous experience in the health field.
* Three satisfactory reference with letterheads from the Adminstrator or Director of Nursing of the facility.
* Current, 3 month negative TB results.
* Current ARC/AHA CPR-FA card.
* Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
PSR COVID-19/Rapid test upon hire and weekly testing.
* Health providers must not have any employment restrictions/criminal barrier.
* Transportation with copy of auto insurance, Drivers license and DMV record.
* Smart phone to communication with the agency and Electronic Visitation Verification.
* Must be able to comply with the Licensed Medical Staff evidence-based, skills, knowledge and interventions required to improve the individuals quality of life of per the Plan Of Care.
* In-home care staff are responsible for alerting the agency's Director of Nursing, medical staff/Registered Nurse of any physical, mental health status and other health concerns in a timely manner.
The Licensed Medical Staff will assume all medical treatments, (wound care, medication administration and ect.

) per Scope of Practice.

* Weekday 5 -12 hour assignments.
