Job Summary
The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will assist in overseeing all aspects of operating a successful college-level, intercollegiate athletic program.
Essential duties will include:
Assist in recruiting qualified student-athletes.
Support academic requirements regarding eligibility of student athletes.
Provide advice in spiritual development and program of study to team members.
Report violations of the NCCAA or University rules within the department to the Director of Athletics.
Adhere to regulations governing intercollegiate competition, compliance, and to the rules and standards established by NCCAA.
Assist in coaching, organizing, and supervising practices, games, and other workout sessions for the team, as well as student workers and volunteers.
Promote community service projects.
Complete reports for regional and national awards
Manage inventory and storage of athletic equipment.
Coordinate travel arrangements for team and officials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 1-year high school, collegiate or private coaching experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Candidate must have:
Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one, in small groups, and publicly
Strategic planning skills
Desire to promote teamwork and integrate Scripture in coaching and student athlete interactions
