```Duties```
- Transport and deliver sheds and other portable accessory buildings to designated locations, within NC & VA using a variety of vehicles and equipment, including a Mule, forklifts, track jacks and other rigging equipment.
- Load and unload sheds onto trailers using proper lifting and securing techniques.
- Operate heavy equipment to maneuver sheds into position for loading and unloading and set up, includes positioning cinder blocks, setting anchors, and assembling some pre- fabricated parts on site.
- Must have the ability to repair any damages to buildings caused in transport.
Must also have basic mechanical skills to maintain equipment and sometimes tend to emergency repairs in the field.
- Cordinate with customers and follow schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
```Qualifications```
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the specific vehicles being operated .
- Experience driving various types of commercial vehicles used within this industry.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractors.
- Ability to load and unload sheds using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.

This position is open to one qualified person, with experience in the shed industry.
Your vehicles are a 4x4 Ram 5500 with goose neck trailer and a Freightliner with 53' trailer.
You will be a W-2 employee and your pay is piecework for sheds and accessory buildings that are successfully delivered and set up for customers.
Local runs, just moving inventory between the factory and the shed lots, pays 35 dollars an hour.
You will be at home every night, except for the occasional over night run to either PA or GA.
These trips pay 600 per run and are intermittent, about twice a month.
Paychex are direct deposit once a month and is based on the work completed the previous month.
* For applicants that do not have experience in the shed industry, but want to learn the trade, we can teach you, if you already have your CDL & are willing to learn the ins and outs of this unique trade.
The pay offered for an inexperienced applicant is 25 dollars an hour for the first 90 days.
The first 90 days is considered a temporary position.
During that time, if we see that you do not have what it takes, then we will terminate your position and invest our time into training someone else.
It is our hope that you learn quickly and posess the skills needed.
IF you do, then after the first 90 days of training, your pay will increase to that of the aforementioned payscale for an experianced shed hauler.
Since there is no such thing as a shed hauler school, we have to do on the job training.
So, think of your first 90 days as Shed-School and you're getting paid to learn a unique trade that is not well known and in high demand nationwide.
* IF you do not know what a shed hauler is, then go to youtube and search it.
You will find all sorts of videos posted by other shed haulers, showing what they do and how they do it.
You will see some of the challenges they face on a daily basis, and determine weather or not this job is right for you.
