We are looking for a personal care attendant for a minor special needs child.
The child has a genetic deletion resulting in significant physical and mental delays, is non-verbal, and autistic.
The child will need assistance with feeding, toileting, dressing, bathing, administering medications, and other activities of daily living.
Duties would include minimal cooking, meal preparation, feeding, and cleaning up after the child.
The personal care attendant must be patient, compassionate, and unafraid of challenging work.
Must act quickly and responsibly in the event of a medical emergency.
Must be reliable, CPR certified, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a criminal background check.
Prior experience as a personal care attendant is preferred.
Must provide personal and professional references.
Hours are flexible but will be primarily evenings and weekends, approximately 30 hours per week.
The salary is non-negotiable as it is set by the Federal Government and is fixed at $12.
70/hour.
