Solid Heavy Gold Brass Ornate Scroll Baroque Ink Well Depose Tray Lid - $150 (Chesapeake)

You are looking at a Heavy Ornate Baroque Ink Well Solid Golden Brass Depose Tray.
It is very beautiful, stunning, and elegant; however, it does have a couple of defects.
Lids are being held up with nails, the original metal insert must had been lost.
There are some weaken chipped area on the hinge of the lid.
See photo and one screw is missing in the ink well, but is still well attached with the other screw.
This ink well has fish designs in the middle and around the edge and face designs on the corner.

This tray is stamped on the back.

I don't know what the stamp means.
This ink tray would look great on any desk or book shelf, in any office, or in any library.
It looks like inserts go into these since they are not liquid proof.
This is just how the tray was made.
The measurements are: 20 7/8" long with the handles, 9 1/4" wide, and 6" tall to top of the closed lid.
