We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our podiatry team.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks.

*Duties:*
- Escort patients into the assigned examination room.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting each patient's complete medical history, and assisting with examinations.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as physician needs assistance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Handle medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating referrals.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
*Qualifications:*
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Requires strong organization skills and professionalism to understand and perform assigned patient care tasks including documentation through our electronic medical record system.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members including physicians.
- Knows hierarchy in the office and respects accordingly.
- Needs attention to details.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Previous podiatry office or related experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
