POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Control Analyst (PCA) located in Moyock, NC, will report to the GSO Senior Finance Manager.
The individual will liaise with Operations, Contracts, and Finance to ensure seamless cost and revenue processing, billing/collection, monthly reporting, and forecasting of the Training portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support financial activities such as invoice reconciliations, accruals, indirect cost application, billing support, and revenue calculations.
Establish and maintain project baselines, budgets, Estimates at Complete (EAC’s) and forecasts.
Measure and project key financial metrics against plans with detailed variance analysis.
Monitor contract funding and backlog.
Coordinate funding notifications and requests with Project and Contract Managers and submit setup forms to the Project Setup Team for input into Costpoint.
Reconcile unbilled receivables, monitor billed receivables and identify actions to prevent excessive aging.
Coding and Approvals of travel expenses, vendor invoices, and purchase requisitions
Provide guidance to project teams and ensure compliance to finance policies & procedures.
Cash collection, deposits, and receipts
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Management or other related field required
Must be able to demonstrate Excel Skills (Formulas, Functions, Charts and Data Management)
Proficiency with other MS Office applications (Teams, Sharepoint, PowerPoint and Word)
Demonstrate the soft skills necessary to manage priorities, meet deadlines, work as a team and thrive in a professional environment
Preferred
Government contract experience including interpreting contract modifications, management of multiple projects/CLINs preferred
Deltek Costpoint and FocusPoint experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of FAR, GAAP and CAS
Experience with external auditors

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push, or move objects up to 25 lbs.
Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.
