*Job Duties*
Accurately process and audit all payroll disbursement documents, maintaining appropriate documentation to ensure that all transactions are processed in accordance with agency, State and Federal Guidelines.
Must be able to relate to SEVTC colleagues and vendors beyond giving and receiving instructions, must get along with co-workers and peers without exhibiting behavioral extremes, and respond appropriately to feedback or criticism from a supervisor.
This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency or facility need.
All SEVTC positions are required to work different shifts and/or overtime as requested.
*Minimum Qualifications*
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and governmental accounting
• Knowledge of State and Federal Labor and Tax Laws
• Knowledge of garnishment deductions and processes
• Skill in operating a personal computer
• Ability to reconcile complex accounting data
• Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
• Demonstrable experience using KRONOS Timekeeping System, as well as Cardinal payroll system.
Previous accounting and payroll management experience for a large employer.
