Duties:Responsibilities:  Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions for various entities, ensuring proper approvals and general ledger coding and making entries into various ERPs  Assisting with preparation of bi-weekly payroll for various entities  Preparing various reports, both recurring and ad hoc  Maintaining customer and/or vendor files and records  Ensuring HIGH LEVELS OF CONFIDENTIALITY in the maintenance of employee files and other Human Resource information  Reconciling General Ledger account balances and customer and/or vendor statements  Researching and resolving billing discrepancies by communicating with concerned parties internally and externally  Scanning documents and maintaining paperless filing system  Other duties as assigned Qualifications:  Education and Experience: o A minimum of a 2-year degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, Human Resources or a related field.
Direct verifiable work experience may be substituted in lieu of formal training  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: o Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with staff, customer, and vendors o Superior email etiquette and experience with maintaining an electronic calendar and organizing heavy email traffic o Ability to efficiently multitask in a fast-paced work environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality o General accounting knowledge o Familiarity with an ERP accounting system o Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel- Conduct balanc sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting tasks - Perform cash flow analysis and financial accounting activities - Manage accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments - Utilize financial acumen to support corporate finance initiatives - Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes - Prepare and present financial reports to management - Collaborate with external financial services providers as needed Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Proven experience in financial accounting and analysis - Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and cash flow analysis - Proficiency in financial report writing and presentation skills - Familiarity with corporate finance principles and practices - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Note: This job description is a general overview of the duties and requirements for the position of Human Resources Specialist.
