A/P & A/R Specialist

*Hoffer Flow Controls* *AP/AR Specialist* As the AP/AR Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Hoffer Flow accounting team.
We are a global manufacturing company that produces flowmeters for various industries such as: aerospace & defense, oil & gas, cryogenics and many more.

*As the AP/AR Specialist, your primary responsibilities include:* Input and process of AP to ensure expenses are recorded accurately on a daily basis and paid timely.
Match purchase orders with invoices Maintain vendor accounts in Sage 100 Provide timely resolution for all payment inquiries.
Input, reconciliation and collection of credit card expenses Set credit terms for new customers using D&B reports and credit references.
Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure inventory is received and entered in Sage.
Post all checks/ACH/Wires and credit card payments into Sage.
Manage Cash In Advance (CIA) accounts Work with the sales team to resolve questions on receivables and follow up with client.
Prepare bank deposits.
Review aging reports and work on collections.
Assist Comptroller and Director of Accounting with any additional projects.
*Qualifications* Associate degree or two (2) years’ experience in an accounting environment preferably with subsidiary ledgers Proficiency in MS Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines.
